That's what I thought it was. It's a good style for you. Thanks, Terry. The brim is 3 inches wide.

The question is, do I keep the cattleman's crease? I'm kinda thinking a teardrop would look better. The brim is wonderful too, and it snaps down.
Play around with it as you will, it's your hat.Alright, so I got this Open Road on eBay from our very own Brent (deadlyhandsome). I love the felt on it, if this was a Stetson it would have been way way more valuable, but since it's not branded he sold it for a great price. The question is, do I keep the cattleman's crease? That’s what I think I’ll go for. This Open Road is a lot like the Royal Deluxe style.Play around with it as you will, it's your hat.
My Royal Stetson OR looks good Fedora type style imo.

Shame it's not playing ball, Brent. It sure looks a fantastic Western. I really like the ribbon and bow.Stetson Big Country. I’ve spent a couple days trying to change it to a long oval. I’ve used a hat jack and a custom LO band block along with frequent applications of steam. I’m afraid that it’s just not conforming and is still uncomfortable to wear.

That’s too bad. Love the look with the wider ribbonStetson Big Country. I’ve spent a couple days trying to change it to a long oval. My idea of what a 1920’s - 1930’s western doctor might have worn.
