Feeling a little country today with my private label (probably Resistol) dark Sage "TRAILBLAZER as "Styled by Peters" and sold at "The Corral" in Tyler. I love the red lining and sweat bow in this....I wish the dogbone crease with counter dents showed up better....it is higher and tighter than it looks in the photo.

Thanks, Steve. The shape was unintentional. The felt is very malleable and I’ve been trying to go with more organic shapes lately. I love the asymmetrical hats in vintage photos, but I can be a bit compulsive when shaping my own; I’m trying to get away from that.

I found this Bee hat listed on the bay...I have not bid, it is size 7 1/4....I just thought the crease quite interesting....looks quite deliberate rather than accidental........Does have a cool red liner too....

I like "The Grazer" myself.........course you have something with that "Dog Nose" too......CANNOT even imagine how it would look while wearing it......... :-O

From the front that crease looks a lot like a mouth, like the sorting hat from the H. Potter films. Maybe you could sort cattle at the auction ring. "Hmm, nice, choice steer. Better beee.... a dollar! Sold!"

I saw that hat too. As I recall, it was 90% wool. Still looks interesting.

Great advice and interesting thought, Brent. I'll remember it and not obsess too much about achieving symmetry, too.
