Used on firearms a lot. Makes for a good looking bar.

Cerakote has a natural lubricity to it which helps with abrasion resistance, & it seems to have some impact resistance; doesn't chip easily. The building it's in was built in 1870 so that steel counter has probably been in there many decades. The Cerakote in a gray marble looks great.

Handled and fired handguns coated with it. I've seen demonstrations where a firearm was purposely dropped on concrete w/o much scuffing. Had a Sig P226 with what they call a K-coat finish. Similar. And now back to our regularly scheduled programming.

Been working on the 3X Arminto some. Don't know how much I'll wear it but the shape is coming around to my liking though the shadows of the cattleman crease still hang on.

I think the Arminto will make a nice dress hat with the shape you have given it.

When construction is complete these gates will come back down & get some etched coating like Cerakote.
