Seller claimed the circumfrence was 25". I was betting the odds it was smaller than that. Turns out the size tag was still in it & seller never even measured it. It's already been returned because seller misrepresented it.

Bought this Sunbody at Nathaniel's Hatshop in Georgetown TX. Had him curl and shape it Don William's style then tacked on a dress ribbon and then slipped on a horsehair band. He steamed it till it perfectly fit my head.

Adding my 3X Resistol conversion to the mix. This hat came out really nice. My only issue with it is the Whiskey color. I trimmed down the brim and reshaped it. Everything original to the hat went back in it, except for the ribbon. The crown is shaped to my preferred Teardrop. I'd post more pics but I'm bummed over the color. I literally dislike it. Such a nice hat that came out real nice but the color ruins it. I think Whiskey looks nice other people, it just doesn't suit me....the picture of me wearing the hat is closer to its actual color

Thank you guys! I have a Piteado belt but it's a different pattern. And just like my beaded belts I rarely wear them because I'm afraid of chair damage across the back.

Stetson 7X Fifty just arrived. I'm thinking 1970's. Better pics when time permits.

I bought this hat back in the 80's. My original boot scootin', shit kickin' cowboy hat. Milano 10X. Dug it out and took it to Nathaniels in Georgetown for a new sweatband, cleaning, and reblock. Went from an old time cattleman crease to a new mini-gus and went from a raw edge to having a new black thin ribbon around the brim. He found a cool leather and brass concho hatband to finish it off. He works magic with felt. Love this "new" look on a 30+ yr old hat. Looks brand new and fits better than ever sized with his conformer.

I'm a fan when he sticks to the Blues; not so much with Pop music. I sometimes wonder if he didn't have success way too early at 16?
