Just nabbed this old (60s?) JC Penny branded straw hat. It's made in Tawain, but I have kind of a thing for this more boxy looking style crease, and there's pretty much no finding anything new shaped like this.

Thanks, Bob. It took Some steam and the spray bottle to get it to comply but I've worn it two days straight and it's not moved.

That's a nice #1 skinny cord, BB! I like what you have done with it. When I look at that last profile pic with the lighting & shadows I see a Texas Longhorn. Good job with the brim too!

Thanks Jack, good eye on the Longhorn, that was not intentional but I'll leave it. The brim is my favorite on this.

Love the bash on this!!!! I really like the "for and aft" pinches. I have done this on a couple of mine and get a LOT of positive comments about it!!!! You just do not see it every day......now that you have done that on your skinny ribbon....looks like I will have to remove the cattleman crease and do this with my 3X skinny.........................I am inspired again!!

Thanks, M. I just creased this one back into a cattleman and the resulting dents are pretty much organic after dividing the dents. I started to widen the center crease a bit but have decided to leave it for now.

I don't really know anything about the Dusty Rhodes collection other than I've seen others listed & the collection obviously predates his death in 2015.

Thanks DD. Mr. Bond really had an eye & truly made works of art. May he Rest In Peace. From what I have seen I worry about the next generation there. All the more reason to hang on to the PB's I have.

I’m trying to warm to this Resistol 4X. I reblocked it and got 5.75” out of it. I was going to replace the band, but after I removed the one shown I saw it was full-grain leather and the tarnished silver (color not metal) looked to be of decent quality. I’m keeping it as is for now.

This weekend in Tombstone they are having the 25th Anniversary Reunion of the movie Tombstone. Many of the stars will be there and I donated two hats based on ones in the movie for a local charity to auction. Going to be a great time and if you live close by come down.

These cow skulls are really bad. If it wasn't for the short horns they would almost look like aliens. Cactus & aliens...it's Roswell all over again!
