This is actually my only hat. Schafer Hat Works pure beaver in silver belly. I wear it every day.

I have been to Schafer Hat Works, he trimmed a brim for me. I may have to go back by there one of these days. I will probably fall off the wagon (of my diet) and have a chicken fried steak across the street. Nice hat.

I reflanged the brim on this Stagecoach and added a kettle curl. The curl needs some tweaks but it turned out pretty good.

Celebrating 36 with Tom Mix.

I had purchased this No. 1 recently and noticed it looked very similar to the wider ribbon sported by Tom Mix in the serial, ‘The Miracle Rider’. Once I started doing some additional research, I was delighted to learn this last of his films, a rare ‘talkie’ for him, was filmed on Iverson Movie Ranch. Right near the ranch, is a public access climbing area called, Garden of the Gods, and has a boulder dubbed Tom Mix rock. A re-enactment was in order...

This spot is only 15 minutes from my place, and I had no idea it existed until I bothered to poke around a little.

Another 20 minutes down the freeway put us at his final resting place.

The picture above with trash can mural is in Newhall, Santa Clarita. He also recognized on the cowboy walk of fame but it’s not too exciting and I used up the 10 pic max anyhow. Hope y’all enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Hi
I've had a brim shaped a bit at Schafers. I try to eat at Kendall's regularly, but not lately. I love the open face roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy.
