Me to...............all except the size......7 1/2 LO ......someday perhaps.....The 7XCB continues its long history of being socially distant from me but I'm willing to take the chance. My hat size is 7 1/8

I’ll keep an eye out for both of you. Even though the misses says I can’t buy any more, there’s no harm in looking eh??
If it will help with the wife, I’d be willing to take a 7 5/8 off your hands. It’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make.
not sure this qualifies here nevertheless i humbly submit my very first No1 and my widest brim .. this particular thread could be my favorite in "hats". it was informative steaming this one up as once you put a shape to felt it was locked in almost immediately. something i haven't encountered before even in the ORs and other Stetson's of the same 50s vintage i own. hat's in really nice shape despite size tag falling off for no apparent reason doh! can these be easily re affixed? came to me with a typical western bash and upturned brim. i flattened brim and gave it the "bowen bash" ; ) hopefully my skills will approve with time.

I know that part of Texas well.
I'm expecting my 4th to arrive tomorrow!
Hey, thought I'd let everyone know that the Stetson/Resistol factory & outlet store in Garland, Tx is not far from me...about 30 mi. My son and I try to visit the store every couple of months.
They have a good supply of every style and I've come across several Stratoliners in the store but they're always larger sizes...7 5/8 - 7 3/4. But they have more Western style hats in all materials than you'll ever see in one place.
My last two visits had me coming home with a Stetson Dune each time, one black and one gray. Prices at the store are half the normal street prices with bigger discounts on multiple purchases.
A few months ago I took a 60's era Stetson to them to have the sweat band replaced. They turned it around in one day and put a new liner and ribbon band on it for $25 bucks.
here's some before and after photos:

Love it T. I'm glad you were able to shrink your head down enough to be able to fit into it. I hope you were able to use all the original partsFrom last year. '50s era No. 1 Stetson that I refurbished and sized up from a 6 5/8 to a 7 1/4. Looking at some of fine No. 1s on parade here makes me want another one....

Yeah, I almost drowned myself holding my head under the faucet long enough to get it shrunk down to size! Unfortunately I wasn't able to reuse any of the original stuff and I wasn't able to keep its original 4' brim width. It was a shame too. The sweat was in near perfect condition. I blocked it up four sizes so the most I was able to get out of the brim was 3 1/4 inches.Love it T. I'm glad you were able to shrink your head down enough to be able to fit into it. Haha!Dammit, man!
Ps: wrong thread again!! Argg
Great observation. This thread seems to go on and off the rails with 'kind of', 'pretty close', 'ish', and not so Western, Western hats.
