What a blast. They played for 3 1/2 hours with only a twenty minute break. The only one of my favorites they didn't play was "Hole in the World."
They have a great brass section - actually brass, strings and woodwinds as they are multi-instrument talented. Each member of the brass section wore a hat. It was great. There were westerns (yes!), fedoras, a fez-kind of skull cap type of thing, and berets.
Then the irrepressible Joe Walsh put on a hat cam for one song. As he roamed around the stage, the view from the hat cam was projected on all the big screens. Pretty funny.
The Eagles are incredibly talented vocalists and musicians. Their a capella harmonies are simply the best. They played and played and played. And apparently, they like hats. Quite a fun-filled evening.
