Weird hat style I can't identify (this was in a movie)...

If anyone's seen the sports movie White Men Can't Jump (great early Woody Harrelson role by the way), one of the jazz singers in the beginning is wearing an oddity. It looks like it has the proportions of a porkpie, but it looks like a cross between a bowler and a top hat (made of felt though, and it looked hard like a bowler).

That looks a lot like a John Bull Topper to me. It could also be a Low Topper.
