How about using them for hat liners - specialty like? :) I am certainly open to such a use on my hat.

:eeek::eeek::eeek: use an original 50's necktie as a hat liner????? One mighty expensive hat there!!

come to think of it..that might be a great idea but using modern artists, not original neckties. The wife might not mind..what could go wrong there?

That exact style of tie shows up on eBay every few months or so. Etsy too. Next time I see one available, I'll fire you a message. They're generally less expensive than they used to be, but still ... be prepared to pay between $75 and $125 for one in mint condition.
