That Browndale does look super. And I can vouch for Miller quality and service as well; the Miller porkpie I've got was made (quite well) by Biltmore.

I'd like the Browndale even more if they offered it in some other colors. [huh]

I just plain like it; and the one directly above it on that page. Easy enough to steam a new crease, so open crown is not an issue with me. The price is reasonable, with bound edge, generous crown, wide brim. The color options -the colors offered are 'safe' marketing for those new to hats, only those of us bored with those colors want shades of green, blue, taupe, etc.

Hey Baron you call and talk to them..I bet you will get an open crown. I have bought a few from Joe and he is a pleasure to deal with..
but the first time I tried was during Rodeo season and I had a little trouble. I am more patient now and they do great work, so the wait was worth it.
