Watch Chains

Thanks to Feraud for bumping up this old chestnut of a thread.

Here's a shot of one of my favorite Sterling single chains.

It has individually hallmarked "graduated" links:



Signed by Thomas Fattorini of Birmingham on the reverse of the fob, it's also engraved "Westminster Cup 1933".

The chain nicely complements pocket watches having cases made of Sterling, Coin Silver, or dull nickel for that matter.

Thanks for resurrection of this thread, currently doing pocket watches so the chains / fittings bit has been most useful. I’ve paired a 60’s Popeye pocket watch with a Victorian Double Albert chain for my waistcoat and a 20’s Art Deco chain for my selvedge pocket when wearing vintage denim
