Washed Goatskin....Anyone have any Experience?

I am thinking of ordering a custom Indy jacket from Wested. One of their leathers is washed goatskin. Can anyone tell me anything about it? Any pics of jackets with washed goatskin? thanks, Phil

Surely all leather is washed during the tanning process?

I have a goatskin A2 that is 20 years old and it still looks like only a few years old. Washed goatskin will give you a shortcut to the worn in look while still being very durable. It all depends on the look you want from the jacket ... new or old and broken in. Cheers
