Anyone got one that size in decent condition that they're willing to part with? Not real fussy on colour, nor whether it's double breasted or not. As long as the fabric pattern won't 'strobe' on video, it's cool.

I had one up on the classifieds about 4 months or so ago. Dated 1940, single breasted, 2 button 38R 34 waist. Blue with red and blue pinstripes. One prettty much invisible moth hole. It is still available. Alas, it's somewhere upon the ocean waves between here and England. PM me if you're interested in getting it about 6 months from now. I have no idea if the fabric pattern will strobe on video. What patterns would do this?

And, actually i have a really beautiful Donegal Tweed in about that size (though i'm not sure what size exactly. will check tonight) that i'd be willing to part with. Too big for me. It's a beauty. SB, three button, three patch pockets ...

A pattern that might strobe on video would be small houndstooth, checkers, or tight pinstripes or corderoy(sp?).

I picked up a gray double breasted with peak lapels and pleated trousers with a watch pocket yesterday that appears to be a 40-42 R with a 36 waist. I don't have any pictures yet but I would be glad to take some if you are interested. The only thing is that it has the date in it of 3-28-50. It is a very nice suit, but I am sad to say I will probably never be that small again.
