That is a picture of Walt Disney from September 1966. Was curious as to what material you think was made in his fedora--it does not look like felt--and anything you could tell me about the band. I like it a lot; it looks casual, not unlike the casual fedoras of today.

Looks like a Tyrolian style hat. Probably had a jaunty feather on the left side too.

My guess, it's a Alpine or Tyrolian hat, maybe made in Germany. Habig or Peschel etc.... It looks like Sichel Hair ( longer fur felt! )

The lining appears to be like the linning in Baracutta G9 jackets. The pic below is a tan Baracutta G9;
