Hi everyone, I ordered an Aeromarine around jan 15th went back and forth about measurements and finally sized down. I've contacted them via email twice to see when it might be done about a week ago and never heard back from them

Just under ten weeks, pretty good. I would tend to assume twelve weeks with an Aero order; generally they come in at less. I think it can depend a bit of what you order: there's some folks specialise in halfbelts, some in the shearlings, so it might depend on the size of the team and popularity of the model in question.

Of course, now you've let o you're getting the new jacket soon, we demand pictures.... ;)

I sized down. I hope it fits fingers crossed.
They have been extremely patient with me and going from a 40 to 38.
This is my third Aero

whether it fits or not I'll post it. battered horsehide with olive stitching and the normal flap pockets and my favorite tartan lining

Why did you size down? Can you tell me more about the size of the jacket, did you go with your normal sleeve and back length?

Just wanting a bit of an idea, with this jacket.

I'm waiting on a Highwayman (my first aero and first made to order leather jacket) and I'm already spec'ing my next one. I'm still deciding whether my next one is an Aeromarine, Wayfarer or the Teamster. I was leaning heavily towards a Wayfarer, then someone posted a pic of their Teamster, think it may have been @AeroFan_07 and I thought man that's incredible, that's my next one. But looking at the Aeromarine, I like that too.

Going to go with Battered Tan myself, so looking forward to seeing yours. You meant Battered tan when you said Battered Horsehide, right? Unless there is another battered one, I am unaware of.

I'm hoping to receive my Aero grizzly soon, I believe we ordered around the same time. I'm on week ten of a possible 16 week wait, though definitely worth the wait for something that I'm planning on using for the rest of my life.

Looks pretty good. The waist is a bit larger on this one. Maybe with a layer or two it's perfect?

I do really like the style.

I love the style. aero has always been great. I think I should have gone with a 40 my normal size but was scared it would look big. This is a 38

@Mister Rivets - what was your chest circumference measuring when you ordered this jacket? I have one on order myself in unfinished horsehide and was back and forth between 38 and 40. Thanks!
