Not exactly WWII, but I can't think of where else to put this.
She finished her airshow career and was grounded, with VTTS supposed to be looking after her in a legacy organisation but things look to be going rather pear shaped.

That is a shame, indeed. I well remember seeing a Vulcan fly in the Canadian International Airshow every year in the sixties. It was certainly one of the highlights of the show...looked like a giant moth. Magnificent.
