Well, I have to say, finding a straw hat I really love in every way has not been easy. I find the right shape, the straw is junk or it doesn't fit. I find good straw, but it looks too small with my face... the list goes on. Well, not any more! Art has provided that for which I have searched. It's a classic look, but with it's own personality. I love the crown rake on this. Anyway, another great lid from AF...

I don't know if it has a model name. I just told him I wanted a 2 3/4 inch brim and a tall, untapered c-crown. If you like the block, I guess you could reference my hat.

Straw hats are getting popular

Last summer I wore a straw that I bought from PB and had Art reblock it and put a new ribbon on it. Several people asked me where I got it, notably at an Eddie Bauer store at an upscale mall. The salesman had several people a day asking where to get a straw hat. We had a very hot summer in 2006.

I told him and wrote down the url but I doubt he followed up.
