Vintage WWII aviator sunglasses

Just won myself a pair on Ebay. I had managed to get a pair about a year ago, but the glass got smashed in the post, and the cost of replacing the lenses was crazy! Anyway, managed to get these. I see that Armani, who produced the repro glasses for DiCaprio in THE AVIATOR movie, are now mass producing them for public sale.

Congrats Paddy- they look nice and have that nice "mother of pearl"-lucite which is very period. I picked up a mint pair off eBay a while back for only $9, which was nice... Mine have plain steel frames, no plating, I like it.
Check out also the early and mid-war RAF sunglasses, very nice too.
