I think that jacket was a bit of a whore in the WB wardrobe/costume department

it apears also in High Sierra on the Sherriff and also another one of the bag men and maybe also somewhere in They Drive by Night

I had a replica built by Mars Leather in Melbourne,Australia

I will get some pics up soonish

This is an awesome workwear...aviator...biker jacket.

Probably '70s, but with roots to the originals.

These are all from 1907 issues of Men's Wear, via Google Books. Not all are work wear, but all fit the look.

This is part of a large ad for a suit maker.

We had a magnet on the fridge when I was a kid that replicated the "Wears like a pig's nose" label; but this is the first time ever seen the real thing. Thanks for sharing that!

I saw that auction when it was up on ebay last week. It's a great chore coat!

If I recall correctly, it was stored under or in the middle of other clothing for all of these years.

I'm thinking that all these Finck's are from the late 1940's to early 1950's. I went to Inspiration...it was very inspirational. There are a bunch of photos on my blog.
