This is more like it.

I particularly like the roomy armholes on a shirt with generous proportions and long tails, making for a properly wearable garment. If only all the new ones were made like this...

To make the monstrous "classic workwear" thread a bit more managable, I've gone through and split it up into vintage and reproduction sections.

So: Post all your original golden era workwear here!

Whaddya' say, guys? Vintage? '50s? '60s? Later?...

The lack of synthetics and the "Sanforized" bit always makes me think of it as an older piece but the style of coveralls hasn't changed much in a while. [huh]

I can understand the marketing issues related to the discontinuing the mfg of high quality flared breeches. I personally love them for riding and, Unfortunately, it's almost impossible to find manufactureres of them now. When times get tough, there is nothing tougher for working outdoors than a great pair of quality made breeches. I hope they come back soon with the flared cuts and variations displayed here. Beautiful!!!!

HarpPlayerGene - those look to be 50's to me...btw, Sanforization was patented in 1930. Not all items that are Sanforized are from 1950's or later.
