Vintage Work Pants Recommendation

Hi, I'm building my vintage wardrobe, and I need a recommendation for a pair of work pants. Am I doomed to dropping $200 for the Dickies 1922 pants or is there something else out there that's just as vintage at a lower price? And if I am doomed to buying these pants, do you recommend the hemmed or cuffed version for authenticity? Thank you.
