Here are some heavyweights in the Wingtip arsenal...these are a pair of special order Hanovers. They were made for a high end store. They have the "comfort arch" arch support that LB Sheppard signature Hanovers have, but these are just one up on that model, they have a slightly thicker sole and v cleat heels. Something not all LB Sheppard's will have. They are heavy but the leather is super soft and not stiff at all. Calfskin leather, in a heavy scotch grain finish.
These have been cleaned, conditioned and polished. They only need a size 11D foot to go on...they will last a long time....they are noted to be a heavy weight and actually in our opinion, run circles around the Florsheims of the same model type and age. Look at the shine on these rascals.!!!! LOL!
You can own these for a bargain price. You will see similar NOS shoes like this on eBay for up to $299.00 at times...and less...but not these pair...these are a cut above those.....thicker soles.
Price: $120.00 shipped any place in the United States. If you live any other place, I will have to add the actual shipping cost to this price. And it may cost you some for where you live. These weight around 5 or 6 pounds.....so factor that in please if you desire to buy these and you live across the pond or north/south of the US Border.

We showed these babies to our Cobbler, he made up know about the special order part, as there is NO name on the shoe...but the comfort arch pad inside gives the maker away and that there are no branding says they were heading to a high end mens clothier or shoe store. He says Shaw shoe company (and others) would do things that way at times and such was the case for these Hanovers.....
