That is a special one.:eusa_clap I like the little attention to detail. The larger holes on the corners of the diamond that make the ventilation detail pop.

Guys, it's the Positive Ventilation that prevents baldness not the cushioned sweatband. :eusa_doh: lol

I think Art has one of the tools with which to duplicate that diamond pattern, and he wore a side-ventilated fedora (in whiskey color) that he had made to the dinner at High Point. I would presume he could ventilate an existing vintage hat as well as a new hat.

Interesting.... my mother always insisted I'd go bald if I wore a hat in the house.... I didn't, and went bald anyhow.... maybe I should have been wearing one with a cushioned sweat band all those years and I'd still have my hair! lol

I do not have a detail of the vents on Arts hat. But here is a shot of Art with Major Moore, Art is wearing the hat John Barrow speaks of.
Just let me tell you it is a sweet hat!
