Vintage Vegas - Where to look???

Hi, I'm off to Vegas in three weeks to see my best friend getting married. I think I'm going to be desperately disapointed to find that none of the old vegas exists now (like back in the old movies)..... Is there anywhere we can go which still has the vibe of days gone?

We are staying at the Gold Coast, I didn't want to stay in a new flashy strip hotel.... Plus it was super cheap...

Any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated as I've never been before.... I've been planning my wardrobe for at least 8 months!!! lol

I just usually hit the thrift stores. It seems everytime I go to one of the store speciallizing in vintage, its full of the 70's.
