Vintage Vanson Model E Highwayman size 44, early 80'

This is a catch and release. I have an early 80's Vanson Model E jacket made of tea core leather that is in excellent condition considering it's over 40 years old. The leather, liner, and zippers are all solid. I purchased it last week and had it professionally cleaned, but unfortunately, it's a little short for me. Please note that the older Model E jackets are slightly shorter than the newer models. I'm open to trading for a newer model in size 44.

Tempting but I have trouble understanding the narrow shoulders on most Vansons, even a 44 has only 18" sts?

Mine same size is 19" shoulder, doesn't feel that narrow though because of the arm gussets/action back

I agree, the design is quite spectacular. I am 6', around 220lb and this jacket doesn't seem small. It's just too short for my taste.

Your jacket could have had new elastic installed. But the shoulder is about 19" on these jackets, and there's more room for expansion too.
The current one that I have is an inch longer in body and sleeves, 26" instead of 25".
Your earlier E also has the cooler collar. GLWS.
