Well, yeah, they still make them and you can pay a pretty penny for them online, but I used to be able to go to the store in town and get them easy.
I just had a timer problem on my dryer. He told me to use a different setting. His idea of fixing it.....
It ain't my dryer. Let the landlord pay for it
Aha! Makes sense now. lol lol Then again if you get an idiot repairman, your time is worth money.:eusa_doh:[huh]
Yeah, luckily I was just making breakfast and coffee and such, so not much of a bother lol
And then they always tell you to expect the repairman sometime between 10 and 5. When you hear that you know it's going to be closer to the latter than the former.
So is it fixed now?
In the time it took you to make breakfast, you could have it fixed----after you get the part of course.
Nope, just use the other setting.
You are lucky those work. None of mine do. When it went; it went.
How old's the dryer? Mine's only 3 years old. No build quality.

Tsk. I've had the same clothes dryer my entire adult life, three twenty-foot lengths of good old American-made rope. They're kind of stretched out and have turned grey, but then so have I.
Don't count on it. I had a hassle with the building inspector at a cottage I own. It is located 1 1/2 hour drive from my home. The inspector said to expect him "between 10 am and 4 pm". I stopped on the way for a sub sandwich in case I had to wait past lunch time and arrived at 10 past 10. He had already been and gone and left a note on the door.
So, I got to drive home and make another appointment. Same terms. This time I made sure to arrive at 10 minutes before 10. He got there at 2 in the afternoon.
