Well, You've got Indy Magnoli, at magnoliclothiers.com, they do a lot of vintage style stuff. From what I hear, they are also good at being shown photos from films and reproducing said article.

Honestly they are the only site I know of... I'm sure there are more, anyone else got any suggestions?

Roundup Records UK does them, but I've seen them firsthand and they quality isn't great.

Some cat on here makes them as well, I can't remember his username though, and they cost more than a good original pair does.

I recently saw some of this firm's trousers in a local shop: http://www.lelaboureur.fr/
Out of my price range, but lovely quality.

(I don't speak French though, so no idea if they do overseas mailorder, sorry)

I've got several garments from Le Laboureur (of their workwear-line - e.g. the Adolphe Lafont high-rise 1/2 balloon moleskin trousers and matching waistcoat). Pretty good clothing, I'm an archaeologist and wear them out in the trenches in springs and autumns - but yes, they'r on the pricier side...

I've been looking at the Le Laboureur Lafont corduroy trousers but they have changed them from 100% cotton to a 15% polyester mix.

Hello to all,

As I have posted under another thread, I just had two pairs of trousers made here in Vietnam. I am here teaching English and it's difficult to buy anything that fits let alone vintage style. To exacerbate matters I have put on some weight and am now a 36" waist. I have also developed a little beer weight. The specs are as follows:

High waist, even with top of my belly button, 15.5" front rise, 2" cuff and 22" circumference bottom leg opening, European pleats. Cost. $35 each. What do you think?

I took a few photos from online and had the tailor make me these:
