These Spectator shoes are up for sale. I do have many other pictures, however, my computer is giving me a hard time to even copy a link from photobucket and then place a picture here. (This one picture was over an hour of messing around to finally get it to be here) So, if you have an interest, I will have to email any additional pictures.
These are a large shoe...would fit a roomy size 11D to a size 12D. They have brand new vintage heels on them, the soles are what is called a "soft" spade sole, as they have some of the spade sole shape, but are not shaped like it on both sides of the sole as a true spade sole shoe would have. They need nothing done to them, as I just finished having the heels replaced as the original heels had some very slight edge wear, which for us, is just not acceptable. The white suede is actually a cream color, and the smooth leather is the light vintage color tan sort of caramel color which is typical of shoes this old. The insides are super clean and no issues at all, the soles are in very super good condition. These shoes had light wear from previous owners. There is no fraying around the opening of the shoe, as some vintage shoes seem to get. They also have tight stitching in white thread on the welt, another preference by some vintage shoe buffs. Oh yes these are Nunn Bush brand. Most likely from the mid 1950's but maybe older, our Cobbler stated it is hard to say with these.
These shoes are in very fantastic shape and are all ready to go....they have been conditioned and polished, fresh "bunny bag" chalk applied to the cream white suede, and sit in a Redwings Shoe box ready to be shipped.
Shipped anywhere CONUS for $200.00 which for these is a real bargain. P.M. me if you desire to own these. If you want more pictures, P.M. me with a email address and I can email you some when I can get around to it.
Thanks!
