First day at school since manufacture in the 1940s! Comfortable straight away and more comfortable after a days walking. Thanks to vintage shoe specialist isshinryu101 for securing these gems. My cobbler Nick Pascuzzo fitted some new thin Topys soles and heels to them so they will never need a damaging resole.

1940s Stetson Saratogas gator spades.

First day at school for Master Nettleton. Pity because he was supposed to go to school in 1948!

1940s Nettleton Spade Ventilated Spectators

Fantastic Netties for a fantastic owner! I am going to send you another box in a few weeks....some socks, laces, conditioner...and anything else I may think of you could use or lust for! LOL!

I'm mostly a collector of cowboy boots and an admirer of well made shoes, especially spade sole shoes. Those are great. The sole configuration reminds me of some of my cowboy boots.

While we're on the subject of Clapp cap toes, here are mine in that rusty orange color

All of yours look fantastic by the way!

Love those...and the color....no one makes that vintage color today....that off brownish orange seems to be long gone now in the shoe game.
