Been a while since I’ve posted but I recently photographed a lot of my hats so I might as well share

The first custom hat I ever got. It’s responsible for my love of tall crowns hahaha

A couple years ago, Anthony @moontheloon mentioned that he ordered a band block when he ordered a hat from VS. I finally remembered and added a band block to my last order. It’s a handy thing to have and I highly recommend adding one if you place an order with VS. Not only my size, but also my head shape.

Geez, you have a large skull, Brent. The shape is pretty even, though.
Mine has bumps, and a crooked long axis.

Lost control and placed an order for one of Art's "off the shelf" chocolate hats. Figured I better have at least one VS before its too late. I do have a resistol stagecoach there for a rennovation to be "fedoraized" but my hat acquisition syndrome kicked in.

Nice. I’ve been hoping to see one of those show up here. I wanted one of the dove off-the-rack hats but made to the specifications of the chocolate. I’ll look forward to seeing your hat when it arrives.

I almost bought an OTR Chocolate the other day from eBay. After exchanging a few messages with the seller he advised I save up for a custom. I know time is running out, as I think Art is supposed to stop taking orders some time next month.

The means are available but I might have a hard time convincing the wife. The plan, therefore, is to try to sell some other stuff to raise funds. I need to clean out the wardrobe anyway. Looking through old pics I have some stuff from when I was still in high school.

If I can't sell some of the higher end stuff it'll likely just get donated. I've already donated several bags to Salvation Army, so maybe good karma will come my way.

I'm sorry Gentlemen but the time has arrived that I must stop taking orders. My official cutoff date will be 8/31/2019. I'm not at all sure i can finish all of your orders before the New Year but will continue to work on them until finished, perhaps in January. I want to thank everyone for what has been an overwhelming response to my retirement plans and pledge to not retire until every order has been completed.
