Interesting new hats, hopefully having Art promoting hats with smaller brims will end some of the brim-size snobbery that goes on.

How about naming the hats for famous train lines?

The New Orleans Special
The California Limited
The California Zephyr
The Rock Island Rocket
The Orange Blossom Special
The Marrakesh Express

Etc.

How about streets from out West? They don't have to be Western or OR-style hats as long as we stay away from obvious Western references like Montana or Arizona.

The Colfax (U.S. 40 in Denver)
The Central (Route 66 in Albuquerque)
The Edgewood or The Skyland or The Belcaro (neighborhoods in Denver)

Anyway, I like that "St. Charles," and the one just below it on page 1 with the 5.75" crown, labeled "Sunset."

Curious which hat you guys think is the most casual? With my next few hats I want something that can be worn with t-shirts and jeans, brim up. Like when I play music with my buddies I want something less formal. I really think a few of these hats fit the mold what is the consensus?

The ones with the 2" brims or in that neighborhood -- the Reggie J. Way, the University Ave., or the Kid Row.

And let's not leave out the "east side" either...

Madison Avenue, Fifth Avenue, Broadway.

And if you accidentally (or intentionally) make one that is quite twisted, you could call it Lombard Street ;-)

The Kid Row (Oxblood) and the no-name Sahara on the 1st page are quite casual.
Generally speaking, raw brims and overwelts are the best candidates for casual hats; next would be underwelts in my book. Bound brims, not so much, as a rule of thumb.
Blocks that are at least just a bit tapered have often been associated with more country-esque hat designs.
The porkpie is in a class of its own, and definitely a casual design. An abomination to some, a witty invention of the English to others.

Of course it's the combination of all the elements, including color combinations.
For a T-shirt & jeans brim up look I would choose an unobtrusive and lighter (but not extremely light) felt color like Sahara, Natural, Pecan. Else Light Sage, Oxblood, Dark Moss, which would be more colorful choices.
I would avoid very dark and somber as well as very light colors.
