An orange shaped building in Kissimee, FL, where you can buy fresh oranges. I saw this place on a PBS program about unusual buildings once.

Also drove by this place. Looks pretty 70s, but I guess these days that's vintage. I would imagine they probably have an impressive bong selection and some good black light posters. Still, major points in my book for not looking like every other cheap dryvit covered strip mall along the parkway.

This wasn't on the side of the road. It was in Legoland, but it's the only one I saw. I guess cool mini-golf courses are passé in Florida these days.

I used to pass the Portland Gas & Coke building driving out of the industrial end of Portland heading north when working on projects in St. Helens. I imagined the creepy exterior as a long abandoned mental institution. Nope just the gas and coke building. It was used & doctored up in an image of haunted houses for a Windows wallpaper theme. Recognized the building right away. It's an old building with great lines. Would have loved to go though the place to check out the interior.

St Johns Bridge, built in 1929, it is the only suspension bridge in the Willamette Valley.

Cheers!
