Here's one of my favourite uniforms from 1925!

(I bet it's seen the inside of many-a royal function and venue!)

Please post any more vintage uniforms from before WW2 - from khaki to polka-dot!

I wonder whether I might be able to contact the Diplomatic Corp via their website and find out, I'm sure they must have records,

It's just amatter of whether they'd release any records to a member of the public,

I will definately post any infp if I find anything out :)

I suppose finding out is half the fun of having an interest in history!

Here are some scans I found in a book about the life of Winston Churchill,

These are circa 1908 and show the same uniforms as mine, captioned as ‘Levee Dress’
