Late 40’s Two Legs sports jacket made by Rough Wear. Excellent condition. Fits me perfectly. I’ll try and get some fit pics up soon. Leather is surprisingly soft and supple.
My favorite jacket of all. Ever since seeing Terrys' black one many years ago.Late 40’s Two Legs sports jacket made by Rough Wear. Excellent condition. Fits me perfectly. I’ll try and get some fit pics up soon. Leather is surprisingly soft and supple.

Found the original liner in my Hercules jacket, meaning mine is actually a Roughwear model from 39-40 which is what @jeo suspected all along.
I'm pretty happy. I feel like I got a better deal now haha.

Saw this last night, gone before I could post it.
It appears to be in extra fine condition. Congratulations. That was me, I bought it. These rarely come up yet I’ve now bought two in a matter of a week. Crazy.
A totally crappy one recently went for what, 5 grand? This one is mint, I cannot think of a price I'd ask for it if it was mine.30's Peters Tailor Made 'Two tone' Riders Jacket in great condition via Instagram

@Leigh H I was drooling over that one this morning. The condition is insane. Probably quite spendy.
Oh well no chance either way then. It's drooly worthy for sure. Terry making a video on it would be awesomeIf I’m not mistaken it’s sold already - caption was updated. Whoever in the world got it should send it over to the Midwest for a day for a quick @tmitchell59 try on

I've never owned a Peters. There was one on ebay that tempted me. It was solid but not too distinctive.Oh well no chance either way then. It's drooly worthy for sure. Terry making a video on it would be awesome

Some one should some do some background on Peters. I know nothing about the company. Their location on Mission St was home to the bay area Leather makers.
Interesting to speculate on the relationship between these many bay area companies. No doubt knew who was doing what. Think of the names in this area; Ralphs-Pugh, Block, Levi, Peters, Mission Leathers. When you include the rest of California you have quite a list.
Given so few of their jackets show up, I would say they were a very small shop and sold expensive Tailor made jackets. No nonsense, not fashion jackets, but look the flair. They wanted your attention.
Yes, send me the jacket. I will give it back
I'm curious about the buyer.
Where was this jacket advertised?
