Late 40’s Two Legs sports jacket made by Rough Wear. Excellent condition. Fits me perfectly. I’ll try and get some fit pics up soon. Leather is surprisingly soft and supple.

If I’m not mistaken it’s sold already - caption was updated. Whoever in the world got it should send it over to the Midwest for a day for a quick @tmitchell59 try on

Oh well no chance either way then. It's drooly worthy for sure. Terry making a video on it would be awesome
I've never owned a Peters. There was one on ebay that tempted me. It was solid but not too distinctive.

Some one should some do some background on Peters. I know nothing about the company. Their location on Mission St was home to the bay area Leather makers.

Interesting to speculate on the relationship between these many bay area companies. No doubt knew who was doing what. Think of the names in this area; Ralphs-Pugh, Block, Levi, Peters, Mission Leathers. When you include the rest of California you have quite a list.

Given so few of their jackets show up, I would say they were a very small shop and sold expensive Tailor made jackets. No nonsense, not fashion jackets, but look the flair. They wanted your attention.

Yes, send me the jacket. I will give it back

I'm curious about the buyer.

Where was this jacket advertised?

Peters Tailor made is so rare, so rare. Only Johnson Bros could be as rare as I've yet to find even a picture of the original jacket. I wonder how much that Instagram Peters went for.

Some more Peter's porn, different pockets on these two than most three pocket Peters out there:

And not overlook their straight zips:

The Peters at the very top is available for new lottery winners, little over 10k, US Dollars.

I did a bit of research on Peter's. From what I found it could well have been a one man show, definitely small as you mentioned. I'll do a post on it when I can.

Every one I have seen has been an amazing design and they look to be top quality as well. The rarity sure is reflected in these $$$$$ asking prices.

As someone said above, a lottery win is needed for one like the recent instagram jacket. Think a Bill Kelso repro is the closest I will ever get to a Peter's.
