Why not chicken fried steak for breakfast? Throw some eggs and hash browns on the plate with it, a side of toast, your favorite breakfast beverage... That's some good eatin'!I want to have breakfast there.
Or chicken fried steak.
Mmmmm...chicken fried steak!

I don't know how the rest of the parts of the country live, but down here in the south chicken fried steak is a pretty standard offering for breakfast, with a couple of eggs and usually a big pile of grits, all smothered in gravy, or stuck between two halves of a biscuit if you're on the go.Close enough. A couple of biscuits slathered in the same gravy on the chicken-fried steak in place of that side o’ toast and you got something worth fighting for.
Now I'm ready to eat

Long since lost its neon. I saw the place was condemned by the city recently, so I guess the rest will be gone soon enough, too
I need to get down south or out west to get the kind of chicken fried steak I like. Battered, deep fried, and hanging over the side of the plate. Around here you get a breaded tenderized steak that's about 4" in diameter.
My favorite place for the tasty dish is the H3 Ranch in Ft. Worth, which has as much to do with the fact that it's in Ft. Worth as the quality of the meal (which is really good).

I'm always in search of a good chicken fried steak. They are hard to find around these parts. I've had a lot of sorry ones that my waitress assured me were good when I ordered it. A frozen disc of pressed beef is not a chicken fried steak.Around here you get a breaded tenderized steak that's about 4" in diameter.
