Club Soda in Washington, DC. This was a young folks club back in the day. It has been closed for quite some time. It is now home to a billiards club.

These are hung in Bills Hardware in Arlington, VA. I shop here a lot. A lot a lot. Anyway. They just showed up. I asked one.of the guys there, and he said they found them on the roof storage area when they repaired the roof a few weeks back. Apparently (Bill owns two buildings) one was a 5 & 10, and the other a hardware store. Way cool.

Took a walk down Michigan Ave. yesterday with some new friends, and spotted these along the way.

⇧ Great old signs and great old building Bushman. I love the signs like that where you see the skeleton structure supporting them. Nice run of classic architecture building around the Congress Hotel.

Thanks! Unlike NYC, Chicago never really made an effort to save all of their classic archetecture EXCEPT around Michigan Avenue. If it weren't for the skyscrapers in the background, you'd think you were in the 1940s!
