Perhaps we aren't allowed? I'm not sure?

But I was thinking perhaps a thread for items we no longer want but may want to give away? Perhaps for items thats are now not the right size or no longer worn as much. Just another way to boost the ethos of re-use/re-cycle/re-appreciate...new treasures...etc etc (just a suggestion)

Do you both mean a UK Beauty Box, or more like the or like http://uk.freecycle.org/

I know some one who put up her old kid toys onhere Face Book page with a price like a baby walker for £5.00 and one of her friends said Yes please and they made some form for of private arrangment

it would be easy to set up a F/B profile or use Blogger, where you could list items you do not want and sort out where to post etc with each other by private message / email, I not sure how you stop people joining who just want your stuff for nothing or the postage and selling it for a profit on Ebay.

My nethuw put 10 bags of soil on free cycle left them outside his house and when to work , came home and they all gone, that saved him taking then to the tip and costing petrol and a night loading soil into his car. then his soil was more a problem than any value.


Where there a will there a way!

Edit ! you could also us a list like that to put things you are looking for. and some one might have it in a cupboard or see on cheap.
