Ok, the Windward is on a windward tack.

Hey T
I'll take the Windward. PM pending.

It is a perfect jacket for your climate. Light as a breeze! Very nice Brown finish on this one.

I wore mine last week.

No one mentioned the fact I don't know what the leather is! Tell me what you think. Light goat? Sheep?

From the pictures I don't see that distinctive pebbling typical in goat. It does have some nice grain, if it is sheep I have been looking for something Vintage in Capeskin, but not much survived it seems. If it is goat, I like goat! in any case light weight is the key, and vintage with long numbers has my name on it.
Thanks T!

I proud to say I don't know for sure the leather. I've handled hundreds of jackets and this happens form time to time. My Keeper is the same jacket, but later and is a steerhide and nothing like your jacket leather.

Capeskin was a huge fashion leather in the 30s. I have seen all styles made in capeskin, many beautiful jackets and the leather is toast. I have a mint Capeskin jacket from the 30s which is the exception. Seeing that you understand how people who admire it.

Your size requirements can be limiting, we will see with this Windward. Thanks
