Yesterday I received my new jacket, a vintage Schott Perfecto One Star in NOS conditions. It was bought in USA in 1962 and kept in a closet since then. The label is the one used in these jackets from late 50s to mid 60s. It's size 40 (luckily my size). The condition is stunning, only some creases on right sleeve due to the long years of storing but no traces of use in the lining, inside hems, collar, elbows, etc. Its only drawback is a bit of "old" smell, no mold on the jacket but some of that "long stored in a closet" smell taht I hope to be able to get rid of (any hint about this is welcome). Now it is outside getting some fresh air and I will keep it there for a few day.
