Original owner said he bought it in the late 70s or early 80s, which would be correct for the label not having the “USA” on it. This an incredibly thick hide cross zip, weighing in at nearly 10 pounds! Not kidding! Heaviest biker jacket I’ve ever owned. Langlitz replaced the main zipper with a brass #10 a few months back and even commented on how they can’t source leather that thick anymore. Very supple and wonderful patina, with lots of time-honored scratches, minor scuffs and old school toughness. No tears, holes or non-working hardware. This is just badass and has an amazing drape that feels like a big biker is hugging you. Sadly, it’s just a bit too big for me. The side gussets above the side lacing provide extra room so if you’re barrel-chested that’s OK! You can’t get a Langlitz like this anymore. $1175 shipped CONUS, OBO. Trying to determine if a 48” or a 50” as you suggest. Can you measure the shoulder again for me…cheers John
