These are amazing! This is what I can't look at old catalogs, it makes me crazy! I want them all! I have the same problem when I look at my Sears book from the 40's. It's like holding a huge basket of candy and toys inf ront of a 4 year old and then telling them thay can't have any of it.

cover some of the resources. You can try Stop Staring clothing, the bay and your local thrift/vintage stores. Mainly, you have to keep your eyes open and you'll find what you're looking for. Sewing is also a great option.

yes, and on the other topic, as a somewhat "stout" gal, i can testify it is not always easy to get good vintage clothes to fit.Most of my finds seem to come in a size 2.I confess to going on crash diets periodically to get into a dress.As a matter of fact I have about 7 weeks before that Christmas party and i can't fit into that little black velvet number anymore.Mmm..I think I'll have to have a martini while i think about that....

Yes, I am. I actually got a bunch of new catalogs however, my schedule has been hectic lately, I work 10 - 6 getting me home about 7ish. Then I eat, check email and a few posts, talk on the phone and I'm sleepy. I'm redoing my kitchen, both my bathrooms and I'm looking for a husband so, I've been neglectiong many of my duties, (sewing, writing to my penpals, scanning and posting promised pics, baking for a great friend who sent me the most awesome gift ever, and taking my dog to the groomer.) And plus, as you can see since I'm up at like three in the morning, I've developed some weird sleeping habits. I've been a very bad girl.
