Vintage Ice Cubes

I love those honeycomb style trays!
I recently bought a doublewide metal ice cube tray. I hate plastic trays for many reasons and my husband wondered why I was adamant about getting the old kind. Now it's a fight to the freezer for "the good ice"! I converted him. I actually love it when the ice cubes shatter, it makes my gin and tonic kind of slushy.

I have been keeping a large ice bucket in the freezer. I always keep it full so that there's plenty of "good ice" to go around. We went from never having any ice to always having plenty and it's been great
