vintage gentlemen's underwear

i'm looking to purchase some vintage underwear for my best friend for christmas.

i've checked out the vintageskivvies.com site, but i'm wondering if there are
any other swell sites for gentlemen's underwear, especially tie-sides or even union suits, perhaps.

i suppose fancy (old fashioned) underwear is an acceptable gift once a year... comparable to expensive stockings/necessary items etc.

I like the fact that they recommend buying a merino v-neck sweater with the "french backs". It just seems rather odd...
