Here's a vintage G.A. Dunn & Co bowler I received recently. It's in pretty damn good shape for it age. I was wondering if anyone knew roughly the decade this hat was made. The crown is about the height of an older Lock & Co. It's lightweight (venting on the top of the crown), 2" sweatband and had a size sticker on the sweatband. The size sticker came off after I wore it for a day. By the way, I only paid $10.00 for it.

If the sweatband isn't too dried out, you can flip it out and sometimes there will be a manufacturing date-stamp or tag. However, failing that I haven't seen any bowlers that look like that after the 20s. The style looks early 20th century. Regardless, great hat and you got it for a steal!

I usually look under the sweatband when I buy vintage bowlers because you can find cool stuff in there! Anyway, this one just has the size sticker and no date.
