Vintage denim Jackets

I'm home from work with a wrenched back today, so I might get around to taking photos of some old denim jackets I have and posting them on ebay.

Basically I bought about a dozen in the last year or so and weeded out a few that do not fit me. Before I put them up, I figured I'd let the Fedora folks have first crack.

Basically I have three Lee jackets (one size 44 made in Canada, Excellent, two USA - one 44 in VG-EXC condition, one 46 Long in good-VG faded shape), one Wrangler (old 60s style, four pocket, size 44 Long, 99% mint), and one Maverick (USA, looks just like the old four pocket Wranglers, near mint, size 44).

I also have two Levis (a small e and a Big E) I am undecided about parting with.

I'll post pics as I hobble around and snap them.

I'm interested in the size 44's, if they fit true to size- not all of 'em, one or two, and look forward to seeing photos; could you give us some prices on each when you post the pics?
Ice the first 24 hrs, then heat. A hot water bottle is great, but don't boil the water-it WILL burst the rubber bladder after a little while...discs are a fond memory for me- the one's in the lower back, neck, and a few discs that had some great photos of goat races...

I never got to the pics yesterday - my apologies. I will probably post on ebay this weekend , so I will be happy to get you pics and measurements before then.

I did measure them as accurately as possible, using millimeters, so there's less "guess work". As you know, one brand's 44 is not the same as another's.

I'll get this up in the next day or so. btw, I gave my back a one-two punch : heating pad set to stun, and copious doses of methocarbamol - the latter accounting for my lethargy yesterday!

okay - just a few simple shots of each jacket

my apologies for the delay here are the basic shots; i can give you better quality and detailed pics, plus exact measurements to the mm, if any interest you:

First, the Lee Jackets:

1. Faded but great shape, ca. 1970s, about a 46 Long

2. A 70s era jacket made in Canada (the jacket looks identical to US except different stitching in spots, different buttons and the cut is a bit longer.) Slight fade, nice dark indigo denim. This is about a 45 long (big 44, smallish 46).

3. Early 70s Lee riders jacket Slight fade and one teeny (pin head size) hole starting at one sleeve cuff. This is the smallest, fits like a small 44, and is short hem like most classic lee jackets.

btw, I am NOT looking to get rich on any of these, I basically was trying different sizes to see what fit me best, and I have since separated the ones that work on me, and the ones that don't. I just want to find a good home for these, and I'm selling cheap. (this goes for the above and all the jackets that follow...I can expect to get more for the levis on ebay but the others are priced to sell !)

Here is a Maverick:

1970s (late?). Looks just like the wranglers of the same era. Excellent like new condition. This is a snug 44. Nice in-between length in back (again, I have measurements if you wish).

Wrangler 44 tall

This one is sweet. Looks early 70s to me. In excellent like new condition, some very slight shelf wear type lines at the collar, but other wise looks amazing. It's much longer than the typical vintage denim but quite slim in the torso - great fit for tall thin types (not me, alas)

Levis 1970s small e

This is the old two pocket style, looks just like a 1950s & 60s BIG E. It looks a bit lighter fade than in this pic. Wear is pretty even with just a hint of fray starting in one tiny spot on collar. It's 46 but feels a bit tight in the shoulders to me with anything thicker than a tee shirt (I am a 44 - 46). I'd say a 44 would be accurate. Nice length on it and the typical tapered Levis torso, nice cut!

Levis Big E

This one is my favorite. I am only considering selling because like the small e above, it is a 46 that feels snug in the shoulders for me. It is beautiful dark fade. The patches looks like they will snip right off (which I will likely do If I keep it) with ease. This is one of the nicest old Levis big Es I've seen - looks very close to dead stock. Super deep indigo color.
