Vintage clothing: waist to chest ratio problems?

Nothing that I own is skin tight cause I ain't 20 anymore ladies lol Even the bustier I have on in my avatar isnt', it has far too match padding stuffed in the bust.

Ok, probably a reeaaally stupid question: but when we're talking about bust measurements it's not just the band size, but around the widest part right?

Yes, Nostalgic, a bust measurement of a garment will be around the widest part of your bust - over the top of your bosom. It's surprising how many people think it is the under bust measurement, like a bra size.
