I'd just like to be able to find a "modern" car that I can fit into without having to be some kind of contortionist.
This is great!
I still miss my 54? DeSoto Sportman,
when cars fit real people
Walter P. Chrysler went to his grave insisting that nobody would ever have to take off their hat to sit in one of his cars. The roof in my Plodge is so high it has its own weather system.
What mystifies me is that in this day of jumbo sized Americans, the American car seems to be sized for midgets, even the so called luxury models.

i'm afraid you are right.I have a question concerning my 1965 Ford Custom 500 that I hope someone here can answer. The light on the automatic transmission shifter indicator burned out yesterday. I know the bulb is located somewhere along the column, but where? How do you find the bulb to change it? I've looked all over the place for a way to access the bulb short of pulling the steering wheel.

Only someone like Earl the vintage Ford wrench would know but i can't contact him any longer.

Sorry
Oh man, that is one beautiful car - the second picture only makes me like it more. If not you, then I'd love for your son to get it. It belongs in the Big Man's family.
