Just bought this one for 17.49. A bargain. Check out the curled brim on this hat. I plan on changing the ribbon and reblocking, if the block is bad. What do you think? regards, Fedora

Ha, ha, ha, bwa, bwa,ha, haaa. Sharp eyes Matt! Yeap, a large ladies hat, with a 3 inch brim, and a 5 1/2 crown. This had to have been made for real big woman. 400 pounds or so. The inside of the sweatband is 22 1/2 inches. I was only after the vintage felt. Rest assured, you won't be able to recognize it once I get finished with it.:D Hey, you don't think that they run the ladies felt different from the mens felt do you? I just hope that vintage female felt is as good as vintage male felt. You guys won't tell anyone that I am wearing an Indy fedora constructed from a ladies hat, will you. LOL regards, Fedora

LOL, Fisk, man that's all I get from the Freshman kids and the rest of the kids at my school about my hats "That's Pimpin". I am senior so they have to say only good things to me, ya know ya gotta keep those freshman kids in line and this class is a handful, I mean they are some of the worst kids I have ever seen, it's kinda sad to tell you the truth, but I digress.:cool2:

Indeed, indeed Josh. Haha, I can't wait to graduate in June.

I've had this Borsalino for quite a while only to discover it is too small, breaks my heart kind of. I now know i wear a 71/8, but my Borsalino is equivalent to a 7. Anyone know what vintage this is?

Yes, punti 4 1/2 is a 7 in U.S. sizing. As Anthony says, 60s+. This is not the most exciting thread to bump. The Borsalino Brotherhood would be a better place to record this nice homburg. Does it have a style name imprinted on the front of the sweatband?
