Vintage Borsalino 7 1/4 (punti 5 1/2)

Nice and clean vintage 1950s Borsalino in punti 5 1/2. Measures 7 7/8 x 6 1/4.
Color is called Rutinio and comes across as a brown/grey. Raw edge is 2 1/2". (Binding was removed due to condition)
Black ribbon is 1 1/2". Silk liner is clean and has parchment over logo that reads Trionfo.
Has a new stock Borsalino sweat.
Felt is excellent and takes any bash. Great lines on this one with a good straight profile.
Clean and odor free.
Asking 179. ***Vintage plastic rain cover available if interested .

Received that hat...it is gorgeous! Fits a tiny bit snug, but I can stretch it out a bit to fit well.. Here are a few pics. Can someone decider the paper tag for me? I see the color, Rutinio, on the left, I see an initial, plus the word Nero (which is the color black in Italian....I assume for the color of the ribbon) in the middle, plus another word I can't really decipher, on the right.......any idea what the initial is and the word on the right? Was told the hat is from the '50's .

All in all, it is quickly becoming my favorite hat! So soft and elegant. The sweat has been replaced with a new stock Borsalino.
